They have confirmed on their twitter that the issue is now fully resolved. However, our teams across the continents continue to experience them. We are following up with Canva on Twitter and privately. We will keep you posted.

There status page confirms that issue is mostly contained and performance is returning to normal levels. We will keep you posted once this is completely resolved.

ISSUE: Global Outage due to Microsoft Update originating from Crowdstrike faulty software

Preventive Measure Update: Global Alert Ticket i6011

Following up from our Global Alert Ticket i6009, at this point we recommend continuing the preventive measures to avoid getting affected by the outage. While it is being reported that Microsoft is actively working on a permanent resolution, it is also noted that the impact will take a while to recover from. We are as unclear about that statement as we imagine you.

Hence, at this point we are recommending that you continue the preventive measure and extend the pause (step 3 below) for another 7 days from today. We will check back in 3-5 days or as soon as we have an update, whichever is first.

  1. In your PC, click on Search in the Start Menu and type ‘Settings’. Click on Settings icon in the result.

  2. You’ll see a window filled with various system icons. The last one in the list should read ‘Update and Security’ or ‘Windows Update’ click this icon.

  3. Then turn-off ‘Get the latest updates’ option (see visual below – number 2)

    Also ‘Pause updates for 7 days’ (see visual below – number 3)

For now, this should keep you safe.

ISSUE: Global Outage due to Microsoft Update originating from Crowdstrike faulty software

You may have already heard about the global outage that is impacting millions of users worldwide including Banks, Airlines, and everything in between. Jumping straight to the point, here is how you can protect yourself from this outage until a reliable solution is released by Microsoft.

  1. In your PC, click on Search in the Start Menu and type ‘Settings’. Click on Settings icon in the result.

  2. You’ll see a window filled with various system icons. The last one in the list should read ‘Update and Security’ or ‘Windows Update’ click this icon.

  3. Then turn-off ‘Get the latest updates’ option (see visual below – number 2)

    Also ‘Pause updates for 7 days’ (see visual below – number 3)

For now, this should keep you safe.

As of 2104 AEST the Trello service is down. In our experience it returns to normal operations within minutes. They are working on it and you can check status here.

You may experience interruptions, glitches, or error messages on your LinkedIn LIVE Streams scheduled via third party platforms or even direct ones. 

The streams are still available and you can still go LIVE as well. However, the exact extent of the issues is not yet clear. We have alerted LinkedIn and are awaiting their updates.

MARCH 23, 2020 : REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Effective from March 23, 2020 we are adhering to both mandated and self-imposed COVID protocols company-wide. The business will continue to operate with following changes – 

  1. SERVICE RESPONSE TIME:
    • Our standard service response time was 4 hours via chat from Tuesday to Friday during working hours. AFTER CHANGES: We will now be replying within 24 hours via chat.
    • Our standard service response time was 24 hours via email, 365 days a year. AFTER CHANGES: We will now be replying within 3 working days via email. 
  2. SOCIAL MEDIA UPDATES: Projects where Social Media Content Update service is included had a 7 day Publication Cycle. AFTER CHANGES: The new Publication Cycle will operate on 15 day pattern. Please contact your Project Manager for details. 
  3. WEB DESIGN UPDATES: Our standard Content Publication Cycle was 10 working days. AFTER CHANGES: The new Content Publication Cycle is 20 working days. 
  4. CONSULTING SESSIONS:
    • Before COVID protocols kicked in, we sent Agenda 4 days prior and Meeting Minutes within 3 working days. AFTER CHANGES: Agenda will now be delivered as soon as possible or 2 hours prior to the consultation. Meeting Minutes will now be made available within 10 working days.
    • Actual Consulting Sessions maybe rescheduled depending on COVID protocols impact on day to day business and staff availability. While we will strive to do our best, we are unable to guarantee that meetings will not be rescheduled or cancelled, under unavoidable circumstances. 
  5. COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES: As you can appreciate, due to drastic impact on businesses all around the globe, there has been an unprecedented financial burden and loss to business. We are not untouched from this reality. Due to this difficult reality, all Complimentary Services have been discontinued under Natural Disaster section of our Service Terms. We will only be able to continue to support paid services until further notice. 

We will need your support and understanding in these unprecedented times, as we will be ready to provide you all the support we can too. Your patience, cooperation and understanding will ensure that we continue to operate and provide services as well as take care of our own team which is working under a never-before situation together, to be there for you as well as for each other in these challenging times. 

We have lost loved ones to this pandemic and many of our clients and stakeholders are impacted too. Right now, mutual compassion and determination is the only force that is going to take us to the other side, together.
